Shopping, cooking........getting ready for the holiday. So much to do. Wrapping, second-guessing your purchases. Looking forward to seeing family, good friends. Thinking about the real meaning of this season. Maybe its snowing where you are. Maybe, like here, its been raining. And maybe, before the partying begins next week, we should all take a break for ourselves and just "be".
Yesterday, on a breakthrough and glorious sunny day, I had lunch in Malibu with a very good friend. Was a sweet and lovely day. On the drive back to Los Angeles we saw a kite surfer. Then we saw five. Here are a few photos of one, this person doing what makes them feel connected, apparently having a wonderful time, by themselves, part of the ocean and the wind, no snow, no rain, no shopping, just "being".
The blog will be taking a break until after Christmas. Happy holiday to you are yours. Make it the best and most joyous one possible. I leave you with a quiet moment......wish you peace - and hope you will take time to just "be".
